hi , I have 7 toe kick heaters - water based w/blower. One of unit’s blower went bed. Can k remove the electrical/power from that unit and rest 6 unit will work ?

  • If there is just one set of wires (black, white, green) going into the unit yes. If two sets of wires, still yes; you just have to disconnect the connections powering the unit you no longer want. Hope this makes sense.

makes sense … ty. Is electrical daisy chained (same as hot water loop ) since it’s on same breaker ? If so how do I make sure electricity is feed to other units ?

  • Your toekick heater will have its own wires that get connected to incoming power. Just disconnect those wires and that unit alone will no longer work.

You're going to have to figure out how they are wired. They won;t be in series, but it's quite possible that the power to one is fed through a junction box on another one. You may have t do some real sleuthing t figure out what feeds what.

And, while you doing that — remember that that's 120 volts and it is not something to be casual about. Turn off the breaker (or fuse) and make sure that the circuits really are dead. USE A TESTER..

Ty Jamie and Alan … this is another unit I can access and wiring pic for your view. If that helps you to give me some guidance.

doesn’t it have an on/ off switch? Most do, just turn it off.

no on/off. These are for. 1986.

  • doesn’t it have an on/ off switch? Most do, just turn it off. Most just turn on when the water reaches setpoint.

Take the cover off the wiring box and show us the wires.

Most have a three position switch on the front panel. Up is high speed, middle is off, and down is low speed.

If there are 2 cables going into the unit as your pic shows and you don't have a wall switch above that turns the unit on then do this. Turn the breaker off at the panel, remove the wires from the unit and wire nut the three wires together in each cable. White to white, black to black, and ground (bare) wire to ground wire. Walla!

If there is only 1 cable going into the unit just remove the cable from the heater and put orange wire nuts on the black, white, and bare wires.
