Is Baseray considered a radiator or a fin tube?

I'm aware that mixing copper fin tube and CI radiators on a zone is a no-no. Question is, does CI Baseray fall under the same "class" as CI radiators or fin tube? It's cast iron, but has fins (???)

Its radiation. Fine to mix That w/ CI rads.

Its cast iron so the mass of it heats up slower and releases slower.

Copper fin tube has no mass.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

It's both a radiator and finn tube but acts more like a CI radiator due to it's mass.
