Floor protection
Hello, just put down LVP on floors. (We removed the radiators before installing) What is recommended to put under the radiators, to protect the floors? Someone told me they put checker pieces under the legs of the radiators. Thanks

Some discussion here:
But really if you just Google hardwood floor furniture sliders you will find something that will work for you. Mine are an eclectic assortment of whatever was handy at the time… (mostly hadn made wood discs or squares sometimes combined with a felt pad glued on.
I would just remind you to make sure you keep some small amount of pitch on the radiators back toward the supply valve and also keep in mind how much you may have already raised or lowered the floor height with the floor installation. Generally there isn't an issue with raising a radiator if there is enough play in the riser pipe to allow it.
