power vent open upon temperature rise

my greenhouse blows hot air into my home when it is sunny. the air handeler comes on when the greenhouse reaches a set temperature . the vent has to be opened /closed manully . Is there a motored vent that is able to open upon temperature rise?

    Good heavens yes. Lots of different sizes and models from various manufacturers. Try Farmtek.com for starters, but there are a lot of other people.

    There are powered openers controlled by thermostats. Depending on the greenhouse, there are also self contained openers powered solely by temperature change. And so on.

    Once you find the correct size motorized damper, you can operate the damper motor by the thermostat you already have, then have an end switch (Normally Open dry contact) that can turn on the air handler, so you do not need to coordinate the temperatures of two different device thermostats.

    1. Damper opens on call for heat
    2. Air handler operates
    3. Call for heat terminates
    4. Damper closes and Air Handler fans stops simultaneously.

    All from same control input.
