Does anyone know if this is PEX A, B or C? Can Uponor expansion fittings be used as this Sharkbite fitting has failed.

Oetiker SS clamp and appropriate coupling should fix that.

Have always had bad luck with that joining method.

I really like the press sleeves that Viega makes.

Odd. I haven't. But what @kcopp says above about Viega. They are the other type I use. Mostly use with great results and should work in replacing the shark bite.

I haven’t been to the job yet, but they probably nicked the o-ring when it was installed or it wasn’t inserted all the way.
