As a former vocational education instructor, I often tell folks to look for a trade school that offers what you are looking for.
You can find them in most areas either private or public, night or day programs are often available.
Some Voc. Ed, trade schools are also high schools.
Some of these schools offer classes for adults too.
So look to your local trade schools.
Best of luck. Please post here as to how things work out.0 -

I just don't like giving out my location online. That's all. Nothing personal.retiredguy said:I did not know that boiler service and pipe fitting courses were a "top secret" study. Sorry for my ignorance.

Are you in the Witness Protection Program? Just kidding. If you are not a member of a Union, you'll have to set your own curriculum. Either way, it's time to pay some tuition $$$. Get the Following:
All of Dan Holohan's Books
All of Siggys Books
All of Ray Wolfarths books
You can scroll through their book lists and just purchase key Books, but you'll have to decide that. What is your ultimate goal here? Mad Dog0 -

You can find Ray Wohlfarth's seminar listings here.
We've posted Dan Holohan's Dead Men's Steam School and Classic Hydronics on our YouTube channel.
The Esco Institute offers classes and certifications online here.
The HVAC School is also a great online resource.
If you're in the NYC area, the Mechanics Institute offers courses.
In PA, there's PPATEC.
There is also education available at upcoming industry conventions:

Was not trying to pry into personal stuff. By location I was hoping to get. New England, Mid Atlantic, North West Pacific coast, central USA, Canada, Alaska, Great Britain, Antarctica, Russia.
Was not really looking for your address and zip code. Some locations for these classes may not be convenient if you are in Antarctica for example.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
