heater comes on-then stops-goes to a countdown-then show firing and then standby. Why is it turning off when heat is called for by thermostat? Doees not happen all the time

    Is there a delayed oil valve?
    Count down? Does it say "Recycle"?
    Is T T configured ON?
    Is T T jumped?
