Hello Folks...

I hate to do this to folks because I've had experiences on car forums where an argument can go on for 500+ posts after someone asks "which is the best (or right) motor oil for my 1986 928"??? Suddenly, friends become enemies,,,,

But I have to ask.

I beg folks,,, just keep it,,,, 'cool',,,, pardon the pun.

Mr Cool Guy Hyper Heat 3.5 - 4 tons with an air handler??? A great deal at under $4K,,, or super risky business?

Just the slim and skinny.
What's your experience?

Pioneer, Mr.cool and many others are all just Gree I think. I haven't personally installed a hyper heat model I know of a few older ones installed and maintained well that have been great and many that were the just low cost choices and critically the installing skill matched the equipment investment. This combo leads to a short service life. You already know it's no Mitsubishi. Just below LG maybe. Curious to read what those with more direct experience with them say.

Don’t know much about them I know there not very expensive but have you priced them against a Bosch system or Mitsubishi ? I have installed a split for a contractor and worked on one for a home owner ,I can say ya get what you pay for and quality wise they where builders grade on the split system and basic on the mini splits . I really like the tech that goes into invertor equipt but I some how feel that the load matching abilities of them in central air systems may leave some issues w comfort and also that like the ecm fans has come about to quell duct banging and expansion from undersized duct work inverters help curb the strong urge to over size ac systems as to limit it by really offering 2 size condensers which to some degree will vari output and screw ups .
When it comes to equipment I always feel that buying quality is worth it espically when it comes to replacement parts like condensate pans and other oem parts not stuff that can be after market and having tech support is also very important ,Mitz tech support when used has always been great . But this is me and I’m not everybody . I think there price is attractive and w quick connects for refregerant lines just about anyone can attempt to install them , with that being stated non pro installs are not that up to snuff unless it’s a talented tradesman w some skills and is able to read and do a little research . From the few I ve serviced and repaired there was a lot of issue on the install that a pro would have never done and I,ll leave it at that . it is America and we all have the right to choose . Peace and good luck clammy
