Buderus Logano G115 Oil Boiler issue

Hello, I recently purchased a new Buderus Logano G115 Oil Boiler and have a concern. It starts and runs for 2 minutes, then it shuts off, and then 10 minutes later it kicks in again and only runs for another 2 minutes. This is how it operates throughout an hour. This does not seem to be correct?

Not really -- but it may not be the boiler. it may be the thermostat. That is the behaviour I would expect from a thermostat set up for forced air heat.

The technician that installed the heater also installed a new thermostat, so my assumption is that they would have installed the correct type of thermostat.

Sounds like it’s bouncing off high limit.

    G115-?
What's the operating control (aquastat) and it's settings?

Thank you all for the comments.
The boiler model is G115 WS/4.
We're still learning it and not sure how to get the settings.

Did the installer perform a heat loss calculation prior to the install? Unless you have a huge house, lots of windows, lack of insulation, or live in an extremely cold environment the boiler is probably oversized. Depending on the controls you have you could try to increase the high differential to increase the run time.
