Nothing really say. The 140 likely means the burner went into safety. Only an oil tech with the right instruments can solve this mystery. You don't have a service agreement with anyone?

Oil tech is working on this-I'm just out looking for other ideas since the problem is intermittent

EK has excellent tech support. And homeowner support... through tech support.
You don't necessarily need an EK dealer, but you do need someone who knows oil, and EK will gladly guide the tech, dealer or not.

Woody8834 This sounds like a burner issue. If you have to bleed the fuel in order to get it to fire then it could be caused by high vacuum in the fuel lines or an air leak. If your service company would like some assistance troubleshooting the system, they can contact our tech support line at 908-735-2066
