You're probably thinking of an infrared laser thermometer. It reads surface temperatures, not air directly. It'd be good if you wanted to find the cold spots. Around windows and baseboard, etc. Maybe you could do some air sealing. O, I see. Well, that's another approach the management shouldn't be having .. checking surface temperature instead of room temperature. Surface temp is usually quite a bit higher than room temp, and thus misleading residents into thinking there's enough heat in their units. But the one that's felt by people residing in the unit is the room temp.0 -
