1/2 and 3/4 in same loop

I am adding 1/2" pex floor runs in a remodel. 1 run will be hooked up to a part of the floor that has 3/4 copper already in it from the old part. It will be 1/2 to the 3/4 then 1/2 back to manifold. Is that an issue?

The half inch will restrict the flow some, but not too badly. Might not be a bad idea, though, to have balancing valves on the loops...Br. Jamie, osb
