How is Efficiency calculated in a combustion analysis? The attached low fire combustion analysis shows the efficiency rating as 99.12. How is this being calculated.

The higher efficiency you will achieve with condensing boilers ,is when running on low temperatures . The efficiency curve will drop on higher temperatures .

you need to read this one. https://forum.heatinghelp.com/discussion/195137/why-my-85-efficient-cast-iron-boiler-is-really-only-78-efficient

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

It looks like your boiler is tuned for optimal efficiency. The numbers are perfect!
Combustion efficiency numbers that are calculated, advertised by the boiler manufacture or referred to in the energy code are pure fiction. They make folks feel good but have no basis in math or science."If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"

Must be running that boiler at a low temperature? If 116F is the flue gas temperature.
The key to mod con high efficiency numbers has to do with return temperature.
Even when they start to run out of condensing mode, they are still efficientBob "hot rod" Rohr
