Steam Main Vent Orientation

Hi all, I have a couple questions about steam main vents. I’m installing a couple Groton #2 on the main branches. Because of the height of the #2 I can only fit it right into the tee I can’t fit any nipple at all in it. Will that be ok or should I find a smaller vent? If a smaller vent is the right option what do you recommend? On the other branch I’m close to a floor joist so can I angle the tee at a 45 put in a short nipple then a 45 to get around the joist then a nipple, coupling and vent?
Thank you!
Thank you!

It should work fine without a nipple, since it has a short one built in.All Steamed Up, Inc.
