No need for F&T at end of dry return 2 pipe vapor system ?

A contractor years back changed the boiler on a 2 pipe vapor system and installed a Sarco F&T-15 at the end of the dry returns in the boiler room then followed with a Hoffman 75 vent then dripped to boiler return . My question is does the condensate in that trap add resistance to the air removal of the system when it is filling then dumping repeatedly during the system operation ? I am looking to vent the return faster and know that the trap is not necessary in this setup but have kept it inline anyway . Was wondering if it is creating a little resistance in condensate return along with air removal . The boiler does not have any level issues or return issues , just trying to speed up the radiators air removal back in the boiler room . Comments are appreciated .
