Weil McLain Boiler Issue

Hello... I own a home with a Weil McLain 1013-200 integrated boiler control. I've owned the house for 20 years in extreme Northern Michigan and have never had one problem with this system, which is propane.

This morning the boiler stopped working... I reviewed the information on the panel and determined, based on the troubleshooting indicator lights, that the failure is...

"Pressure switch stuck closed or unable to make pressure switch within 5 minutes from TSTAT call..."

Those troubleshooting lights then change to indicate...

"3 unsuccessful ignition trials or flame sense failure..."

I have NO idea what any of that means.... It SEEMS as though, based on the text noted, that the propane pressure was inadequate, even for any instant, for the pressure switch to function, and now the switch is "stuck closed????" Everything else propane fueled in the house (HWH and Ove/Stove) is working. Can I "reset" the pressure switch??

ANY suggestions will be greatly appreciated, just curious if this is something I can buy a part (pressure switch?) and hopefully learn how to make the change or.... do I need to call someone?

Thanks in advance for any responses. they are much appreciated.

    Hello @jy001,
You may have a problem with the blower or the pressure switch. The blower circulates the combustion air through the boiler. The pressure switch is not for the propane pressure, rather proves the blower is running. After multiple failed attempts it gives up and stops trying. You don't want the combustion chamber filling up with propane.

No, the line that goes into it from the boiler along with its trap.
