Has anyone seen these steam traps before?

My first encounter with this brand of trap has been seeing here in this Discussion. Maybe another member has more information.
I am wondering why you have asked such a complaisant question. Are you taking a survey of members who have seen them? OR is there another reason you ask?Edward Young Retired
After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

Those Thermograde Autovalves are at least 100 years old. They may be old enough that they use carbon posts or floats instead of expanding bellows or diaphragms to close the trap when steam gets there.
