Today I learned something about PEX

Well, yesterday...
We are laying down the PEX trying to get 4 equal size zones for driveway heat.
Kept looking at the roll that was left wishing I knew how much was left.
My helper says it would be cool if they wrote it on the tubing.
Looks at the tubing and says " there is 140 ft left boss"

Lol.
Good to know.

    Excellent.
Forgot all about that it is written on the coil. I looked at a coil of PE this past week and it was on there too.

If you tie down to rebar like that very often look into getting a pexgun wire tie tool, they are awesome! In my opinion they are much easier to use than a ton of zip ties

That pexgun has an optional extension so you can do most of the ties while standing. We rent them out locally not sure if your local supplier might do the same. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it in my opinion

video is sped up a bit, but the tool ties really quickly

Expensive though, if I start doing more of these it'll be worth it.
