On a new install, with a tankless coil, I see no automatic mixing valve, but a manual gate valve.
With low and high limits set on 160 and 180 respectively, how is a safe DHW temperature regulated?
Thank you

A Picture would help to verify...but that's temperature blending from 50 years ago! You need a Watts or Taco Domestic How water mixing valve....and a thermometer Guage in the mixed outlet is ideal. Mad Dog 🐕2

A 520 Caleffi is ideal for tankless and tankless coil. Fast responding and if it loses hot or cold, it shuts down.Bob "hot rod" Rohr

There is no mixing valve. How is the DHW being maintained at a safe temperature?

It's not. The hand valve is old school, run the hot water and manually adjust the hand valve unitl its tempered down.stevel87125 said:There is no mixing valve. How is the DHW being maintained at a safe temperature?
Today 120°F is maximum for point of use.0
