Does anyone know if Krupp (The Kanon Konig), The German Cannon Manufacturer ever made Cast Iron pipe for the USA 🇺🇸 market?  I don't recall ever seeing Krupp pipe.  Mad Dog 🐕

On a used poop pipe spraying that all over?
That's why they invented bath-showers. Don't lick your fingers. I hate soil pipes, every germ in God's green acre lives there.

Grinders are great when you have a little room to work.  You can't always slice through and ya cut windows out.  Most stacks are tucked tight between two King Studs, so Diablo was best thing here.  My lungs also appreciate less Iron Dust!  Mad Dog 🐕

Remember the Lennox Hackmaster blades? They had the movie guy cut a car in 1/2 in the parking lot at trade shows.

Cordless tools have also made it easy to cut in tough/ wet environments.

Get and use a respirator my friend!

Plenty or weird bacterias and questionables being flushed down toilets these days.
Ear plugs and safety glasses of course.

    I'd bet @Mad Dog_2 has a chain cutter.
    If anyone does, it's him.

You just learned this? First time I tried it about 6 years ago, it made me mad how easy it cuts...lol

Carbide is a bit scary how hard it is.

I've taken things made out of hardened steel that someone couldn't drill through at all and milled through it like plastic with a carbide endmill.

First had a Ridgid, then a Reed, then a chop saw with an abrasive blade. Finally graduated to a steel cutting blade on the chop saw. That was the fastest. We used it on aluminum staple-up plates as well.

Choose the wrong link on a Ridgid and they would bind; took awhile to get it operable again. The stone age (in my life) of plumbing.

Doesn't Milwaukee have some carbide tipped blades now too? How do those compare? Diablo always seemed to be marketed as the cheaper home center alternative but I have had decent luck with their circular saw blades.

I have a collection of cobalt steel bits for drilling stainless.

I saw a demo of theses blades at the last AHR show. They outperformed the other "big name" blades.
At least in the booth :)

Ratchet cutters, Rex  scissor snap cutters up to 12" I have, but in very tight quarters you're not getting the chain around.  There's always the chance you're gonna crush the C.I. if it's shot.  I prefer a surgical cut.  For Cast Iron in a trench with room, I'm using a Giant Right Angle Grinder we call The Widow Maker.  It takes a 14" Chop saw blade...no safety Guard.  You have to hold tight with two hands and a Kung-Fu Grip or it will hurt you badly.  It slices through C.I. like soft  Irish Butter ☘.  For larger sewers a Gas Partner Saw is fast and clean  and dangerous too!  Mad Dog 🐕
