Update @Mad Dog_2 & @ethicalpaul. I fired up the boiler with the additional Gorton #2 venting. The radiators are heating up much faster and almost perfectly even. Thanks for the help!1

It looks like that main slopes down towards the right?
Although you have a very short length of horizontal brass piping there, it too should be such that any water will drain back into the main.
If you add a tee and extend the brass then you might want to consider rotating the riser 180 degrees.0 -
Hi @JUGHNE, its a tricky photo. The main actually is pitched to drain to the left of the picture. The horizontal brass piping is actually pitching in the same direction as the main, so any condensate should flow in the same direction. The nipple is 6 inch.
