Gas Boiler will not
Start using only the thermostat
Need to put match to pilot light
When it does ignite
It stays burning for only a few minutes
Dirty Hot water blows out of the “ bleeder faucets “ and
The flame goes out
We tightened the bleeder valves
We have three zones
All three valve controls are
Open
All the water lines are open
When the machine runs
The pipes below the
Valve controls are hot
But above they are not
We have an argo control panel
Three green lights on top
Three red lights below

Bad circulator? Where are you located? All Steamed Up, Inc.

It sounds like multiple issues.
”Match under pilot.” That sounds like a bad thermalcouple.
”Pipes hot below, but not above.” That could be a bad circulator as Steamhead mentioned. Or it’s air bound. Or the static fill pressure is too low.Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0 -
Looks like the ball valve before the pressure reducing valve is closed. (No backflow preventer visible in the typical location either')0
