Equipment Ideas?

I have a customer who has a water based hvac system with fan coils. Boiler for heat and 7.5 ton split chiller for AC. He installed to much solar and now wants to switch the chiller out for a heat pump.

Monoblock is out to lunch, so please don't bother mentioning them. I would rather pull my teeth than put glycol in this old system.

Looking for other equipment ideas. Air to water split system (in Parallel), commercial 7.5 ton heat pump with brazed plate hx, ect. ?

System info is attached.

    Interesting. I didn't know they make one. Unfortunately it is a monoblock and I would need at least 2 of them.

    Mitsubishi/Trane has hydronic indoor units in the CityMulti lineup. They're mighty proud of 'em, but the idea is interesting, especially in a heat-recovery system.

    Would there be anything wrong with having a dual r circuit to water flat plate hx built and putting in 2 4 ton Bosch invertor heat pumps? It would be easy to control and seems like it would check all the boxes.
