Air adjustment
Hi new here so bear with me
I have a twin burner so a normal running flame and a high flame to keep heat up if req
Now say a 14 nossle in running flame wants an air suppy of 2.5 on its scale and the high flame nossle16 req an air suppy of 2.8 on its scale
Now when using burner normal use the running flame is on contantly with the air scale at its ajusted 2.5 now while using the temp starts to drop and high flame cuts in to help keep temps up ok no problem but the air valve only moves up to 2.8 as ajusted and set
But given running nossle is still alight and needs 2.5 now high cuts in as well more air is required?? And air given at 2.5 and 2.8 on the gauge when both nossles are alight is 5.3 not suppost to be showing on the air scale gauge not 2.8???

The only way to set combustion air is with test instruments which will measure the oxygen, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide in the exhaust. No other way to tell if it's right or wrong.Br. Jamie, osb
