What is cf stand for? Does cf stand for cfm for cool or heating? Anyone?

Continuous fan. I'd have to check the paperworks to see if it's the only-G-call-active fan, or a real continuous-no-way-to-turn-it-off-fan, ISTR it's one of the two.
I never could understand how flipping that li'l switch would make more air come out of the unit. (<- joking. I understand it, but some [cough engineers cough] seem to think that li'l switch will overcome the soda straws they like to use to move air around.)
