Service experts. I have always wondered if the Nitrogen flows through the compressor when brazing it in. If nitrogen does flows through the compressor and how ? Does compressor internal discharge open let nitrogen flow through since only 1.5-2 psi ?

When brazing you only flow at extremely low pressure. (1 1/2#'s it way to high.) All your trying to do is displace any oxygen to prevent copper oxides from forming. ASSUMING something is open on the high side and there's NO control valves yes it just flows through the compressor from low to high sides.0

You need a flow gauge......
Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

Although it should be unloaded if not running...Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

There is no back pressure on the discharge valves since the compressor is not running they will open under little pressure.0
