Problem with stage 2

heatworthy
Member Posts: 2
I just bought a stage 2 furnace. My house is small and losses heat. I had a stage1 for 24 yrs. I like it in the warm side and was perfect. This stage 2 does not work with my house. The low heat stage is slow to warm and I am cold during that time. Then it blasts a few minutes of heat and warm for 5 min and cold again. Today I put it up to 81 on a 40degree day cause it will not stay running long enough to keep the house warm. Help please. It was a big expense and so uncomfortable.

What Tim said and you should be able to lock it into high fire, need make and mod to let you know how or call your installer back and ask them to do it.0
