National Grid Gas cut off for repairs

National grid was working on the street in front of my house yesterday. I tried to cook last night and realized they shutoff the gas.

No heat (steam), no stove, no hot water.

I called them this morning to get the gas back on. Not sure when that's going to happen.

Should I take any precautions with my gas boiler? Fairly new (2018) boiler.

I suppose I should turn off the gas to my water heater.

I would shut the gas off to all appliances. Inquire with them if they will be sending someone out to relight the appliances when gas is restored

Not like them to shut down a residence without notifying the homeowner!
