What are the options for condensate drainage on a condensing boiler?

Back in 2008 when I had a high efficiently condensing boiler installed on the second floor of the home, the contractor asked if it would be alright to use the vent for the concrete slab as a drain. About a week ago, I notice there was a small amount of water around the Little Giant condensation removal pump. At first I thought the pump was at the end of its life, but after testing it, it seemed to be working fine.
Over the last week, I was having my chimney lined for a natural gas insert, and one of the chimney guys told me that there was water sitting at the top of the vent coming up from the slab. I then disconnected the line from the slab which was holding about 1.5 gallons of water, and then ran the drainage line from the Little Giant condensate pump into a 5 gallon bucket. I am currently draining this bucket daily as a short term solution, but I wanted to ask if there was a more permanent fix for draining the condensate.
What are the options for draining the condensate from this boiler?

When you say “vent for the slab”, are you referring to a vent for a floor drain or a radon vent?

You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.

It is a passive vent from a concrete slab up through the roof. That is all I can say. Maybe it's a passive radon vent?

With a condensate pump and neutralizer you could pump
it into a drain somewhere, maybe a washer drain

Little Giant 1/3 hp or 12 hp. I traded in smaller for larger. bought new hose re-ran straight a line as could across ceiling to shorten distance to sink. Any tips on how to run line so siphons as little as possible back to furnace? How long do little giant last? brand new furnace assume it should alarm if pump fails or ? Is there a a more robust choice in pumps? I assume you can't drill hole in house and dump to outside due to freezing?

did it come with a check valve, check it to be sure something is not stuck in it.

Slope the condensate line down as soon as you can, as the instructions suggest.
