Gas Hot Water Boiler: How Important is Annual Gas Pressure Check?

I ask because with one company--not on this site--I see that 'clock gas meter' and 'measure gas pressure at unit' are the last two items on their list and only are included with their topmost service tier. All three tiers are reasonably-priced in my view, but gas pressure seems like an important thing to test that should be on all the tiers.

More important than gas pressure is a digital combustion test. I've seen units with proper gas pressure producing massive amounts of CO. Did they do the combustion test?

Ditto to what @Steamhead said. But they should do both. Not difficult.

If they aren't combustion testing the equipment with a digital combustion analyzer then avoid every tier of their service.  That's pretty much the most important part of annual maintenance.

Yes, they do a full computerized combustion analysis and draft reading in all tiers.

They also 'adjust pilot and firing rate as necessary and check/adjust (gas?) pressure control settings' for all tiers. But yet that 'clock gas meter and measure gas pressure at unit' is only for top tier. What's the difference between 'adjust gas pressure control settings' and 'measure gas pressure at unit'? (I can clock the gas meter myself....)

I see contractor that list hundreds of checks, there mostly worthless. Most of these companies only want to get in the door and sell you something you dont need.
