Commercial restaurant customer wanted to show me their new house renovation.
I saw this in the bathroom.
Will it vent like that?
Steams currently down and yes they’re keeping it.

It might spit some...or a lot, and at best half of the radiator will heat. If they eventually support it to drain to the valve.

I might suggest that they mount that radiator the way that the manufacturer intended. That way they won't need to re do anything after all the finish work is done.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

    That one’s getting moved.
I just never seen something like that.

It might sort of, if they don't need the whole thing to heat up.

My prediction the steam will race to the top of the first section, across the top, and then close the vent. Maybe get into the second section, but I don't see it going further than that.

Vents are typically about a third the way up the end section.

Also, if it's vent with a float in it, that part won't work at all. Of course if the system is running correctly they shouldn't need the float.

Maybe it was turned 90 degrees and horizontal inside a cabinet.

Use a vent with a straight shank.

    Looks fine from here.

I wouldn't want it in my house, but I have no problem with them wanting it.
