Expansion compensators

Working on a boiler for a church that lost a circulator during the last cold snap. Found multiple expansion compensators that failed. Having a hard time finding replacements. They are 1 1/4 sweat. Anyone know who would carry these?

If you have enough space you could always do the big u out of pipe thing.

They are not supposed to be bent that sharp. No wonder it failed

4 elbows is fine but if it is a long run you still need expansion compensation, Put in some elbows to straighten it out and put this compensator in line

I wish I had a picture of a good one, but it is self contained inside of the of the cylinder that you see in the picture. Undamaged the whole think is about 6” long. The one in the picture is blown out. Normally the two female adapters are parallel to each other.

Slant Fin used to sell them. I thought the 4 elbow swing on brass hot water risers was pretty cool. It was written right in to NYC plumbing code - probably still there.  Mad 🐕 Dog

sorry I did not realize they were in the UK. There is one similar that I used to use but the name escapes me. I will look around.
