Vtx-24 feeder

Hi I have a boiler with a VTX 24 feeder at least that's what it says on the cover but it doesn't look like any other fear I've seen this one does not have a display and looks like only 2 wire hook up I left already but we'll try to get a picture for you guys anyone familiar with this?

    How does it work with just two wires if the 67 low water cut off only gives power when there's no water and presumably you would stop feeling once there's just enough water to shut the low water cut off?

    It will work with two wires. Just the manual feed button won't work without the third wire.

    Does the 67 low water cut off provide power to the number for terminal for some time after the switch goes back up? If not how does the solenoid stay open for the required 90 or 180 seconds if there is no power to the feeder?

    Looking at the switch, I don't see any mechanical reason for that to happen, so I'd have to say no.

    Send us a picture. The VXT-24 has a display and I believe always did. Maybe a WFE-24?
    It's possible that the installer could be using a ground for the neutral, but that's not good and doubtful.

    I have to get back there and take a pic.
    I don't remember having a display and it was not the McDonald's Miller one.
    Also it did not have screw terminals with numbers there were wires that were kept inside and they were connected to the board via Spade connectors.

    The VXT-24 is or should be independently powered, and has a display. It also has variable delay timing on feed, and various feed volumes. What it will do if the LWCO is still calling for water is it will feed the set volume, whether or not that is enough to reset the LWCO, unless it is set to feed only until the LWCO is happy (that's one of the options for feed volume). The LWCO "I want water" switch is simply a signal to the feeder logic.

    The very early VXTs (pre 2000) did not have a display or a manual feed button.
    Their main advantage over an early UniMatch was they could be programmed for feed delay and feed times.
    This early VXT only needed two wires.
    I think I have a video on the "history" of the various versions of VTs and VXTs.
    VT stands for "Valve, Timed" & VXT stands for "Valve, eXtra Timed" according to Hydrolevel.

    Wow someone found it I think that's the model I have just trying to understand how it's powered is it just always power or powered through the switch on the low water cut off? Because if it's power through the switch it would only have power when the water went down and can only feed for a very short amount of time
