Can I use brass elbow to extend my air vent on a steam baseboard?

I need a slower venting valve. It is too big to spin on in that space. So I need to extend it.0

You can use a nipple and a coupler too. or a union. looking at your other post, that is a lot of baseboard for 1 pipe steam. it doesn't have to be brass, black iron would be fine too.0

I couldn’t find black iron in a 1/8 size.0
