Water transfer pump
STEAM DOCTOR
Member Posts: 2,230
Hello to all. Being using Liberty 331 since forever. Max allowed temperature is 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Looking for something that can be used on higher temps. I.e. steam temps or thereabouts. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

There are some high temperature sump pumps around, what kind of pressure are you looking for?
Around 200F for this one, 13 psi range

Looking for a water transfer pump, more then a sump pump. But I guess it can be rigged. Looking for something to use while skimming boilers and to pump out hot boilers (like when customer forgets to turn off boiler before maintenance). Typically pumping up 10' or less.0

Could always get a condensate pump I guess. But water transfer certainly does a quicker job.0

I once rigged up a jet pump from a circulator and a Penberthy eductor.
Priming was required and you had to be quick to shut off before pump went dry.0 -
If your gonna rig something why not try a taco 007. rated for 230 degrees. If your just playing0
