New Steam Vents

Just installed new maid o mists # 4 on first floor radiators, one of the vents seems like it's releasing steam. I held a flashlight above it and saw some being released by the hole. otherwise no hissing or spitting

Does it release during the whole cycle? Or for how long?

its a 30 psi gauge, i know it's not the most accurate but it barely moves.

i didn't look at it for the whole time tbh, i was just checking to make sure no water was leaking from the threads cause i was afraid i didn't tighten it enough and i saw some escaping the hole.

and it could just be a bad vent out of the box,
    but,

is the gage after the pigtail with the Ptrol?
    or on its own?
    picture ?

has the pigtail been checked for clear and free breathing all the way back into the boiler?
    (still questioning pressure here)

the gauge is connected to extension to the side of the sight glass. Pig tail is new, was able to breath into it through the boiler no problem
