    My list of dopeys is too long to share... and I still do it. One thing I am beginning to learn, though, working with younger folk -- how to help them learn without making them feel like an idiot or turning the work into a catastrophe. You do that well, @DanHolohan , and I learn a lot from you.

    That also brings up something I have learned, which is to ask, "so, who did this work?". After looking at a job and telling the wife how messed up it was and it was going to take a lot to repair it, and then having her tell me her "contractor" husband did it, well, now I ask first.
