Help with Mini-split Heatpumps air conditioners

Hi All, We finally got ductless mini-splits in our 1900 3-family house in Massachusetts. We keep our furnaces and cast iron radiators because we wanted to make sure the minis would do the job. So there are some things I'm struggling to figure out. I can't seem to find info online about it. We have Air Temps which I understand is a Gree and/or Nortek with 3 zones. I want to "set them and forget them" as everyone says. But if I set them on to "auto" that is a temp of 77 degrees in that mode you can not change the temp. It seems like it's a factory setting. I'm wondering if there is a way to change or override that setting?

Normal cooling set point should be around 74ish and heating around 70. You need some "dead band" between the two settings.
I am not familiar with the controls they use. I would suggest contacting the installer.
Perhaps they "locked" the setting somehow0 -
set and forget us a good policy. Not being able to set your temperature, somethings not right.0

Multi zone system? not familiar with Gree but in general Don’t use “auto” mode. Put them all in heating mode.0

With the controller Heat Cool Auto set in Auto it has a very wide dead band or differential. Just set it in the mode you want, Cooling or heating.tobrien02382 said:Hi All, We finally got ductless mini-splits in our 1900 3-family house in Massachusetts.
