The replacement is now the bio fuel version.
This model is specially engineered for B20 use (Viton O-rings and lip seal, special materials for piston and diaphragm valve).
Does anyone know why?

I’d guess every jurisdiction is moving to bio so it makes sense to make everything bio rated. Why make 2?
Same for filter and pump strainer gaskets and rings. There was an error rendering this rich post.

Sort like what happened with ethanol in gasoline. It makes no sense to manufacture something which will not tolerate biofuel, since anything which will tolerate biofuel will perform equally well (or, often, better) on regular fuel oil as well.Br. Jamie, osb
