    This ^^^. Something is miswired -- but if a tester arcing across to metal is the way you are searchng for the problem, you stand a good chance of doing terminal damage to some very expensive electronics.

    A change from what kind of valve to what kind? I don't know what you mean. A little more information, forthcoming? A pic of your valve wiring, please.
