OK, now I'd like a fixed or adjustable temp outdoor thermostat

this is not for reset application. its a basement comfort loop and it will freewheel off the house but during the day the occupants are gone and turn the heat down and it runs very infrequently but on really cold days I want to stay ahead of the basement chill.

So I'm kind of looking at, only if its below 20 degrees out I want to run a circuit in the basement so i'm looking for an on off function based on outdoor temp. now, i suppose I could use like a TACO 501 ODR relay and vary the boiler temp by the outdoor temp and just have a very low WWSD although I don't know if the 501 which is not addressable in the same as the indepent EXP type reset controls would allow me to set Warm Weather Shutdown for 20.

So i'm out to try anything once if anyon has got any ideas.
