I have to make a repair on PERT pipe. Can I use Uponor expansion methods and materials on this pipe?

8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

I googled it. All I could find was to use shark bites with PERT

The Watts brand allows the 1960 cold expansion fittings

Roth allows cold expansion with their PERT tubing. I’ve done it with no problems.
