Geothermal with existing high velocity ducts

My home has standard central air-conditioning that uses high-velocity ducts (small flexible tubes) instead of standard ducts. Full size ductwork would be difficult to install in my home. Radiators are currently used for heating.
I'm interested in installing geothermal if the system would work for heating and cooling using my existing high-velocity ducts. My understanding is that cooling will be no problem but heating may be the issue. Does anyone have experience with a system setup this way?
