PSE&G gas fired boiler rebate in NJ - owner installed

We just finished up our install of a new steam boiler and converted from oil to natural gas. PSE&G offers a nice rebate if the install is done by one of their contractors. Anyone know if I'll have any luck getting the rebate if I did the install myself?
Thanks

If you can get a permit and have it inspected you should be able to get the rebate. Local rules may dictate.

A homeowner may perform whatever work he chooses in NJ . He must obtain a permit and have an inspection .

To the best of my knowledge, no steam boilers qualify for the rebates. I am more familiar with the NJ Warm Advantage program (Which is no longer available) and the Savegreen program from NJNG.

The lowest AFUE for a rebate is 90%, no steam boiler that I know of can reach that

Sadly for me this is the correct answer.
