Gauges look alright?

a video of my boiler which is turning on only intermittently, not enough to heat the little house. Do the gauges look all right? If so, think I'll change fuel filter . Maybe find filter @ auto or farm store

The photo of the gauge is completely illegible, so I wouldn't care to say whether it's alright or not.

What do you mean by turning on only intermittently? Presumably there is a thermostat? If so, what happens if you turn it way up? Anything?

And what type of system is this? I'm guessing oil fired hot water, but could be oil fired air or...

A little more information would be useful.

Oil-fired hot water system. Red manual override light was on and red button finally reset and now it's burning great… Thanks for help

Circulating pump remains on but boiler shut off after eight minute burn. Temperature only got to 100°. Red reset button doesn't do anything now. Calling for more heat at the thermostat but not coming  up. Now where can I get a new oil filter?

Now up to 122 @ boiler from that same burn. Circulator pump is still running but radiators are cold upstairs

Do not keep hitting the reset.  There is a problem and it needs to be serviced/repaired.

When was the last time you had the burner serviced, cleaned, and set up with a combustion analyzer?

You really need a professional to come in there and make it right. Just changing the filter, that you CAN'T find at a auto parts store isn't going to help.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

By what logic is changing an oil filter going to change an overheating problem?

As @STEVEusaPA and @KC_Jones have said, do NOT keep hitting the reset button. Even once, without knowing what the problem is, is one time to many. Many times is likely to result in blowing up the house.

Turn the thing off with the emergency switch and get a tech. in there who can find and fix the problem.

    That's a scary quote.

Please stop touching it and find a reputable oil tech.

Even if you were able to replace the oil filter, you wouldn't be able to get it started because you introduced air into the oil line and the air must be bled out.
    Save the aggravation.

When you make the calls, ensure the tech has a combustion analyzer and will leave or email a copy of the report.

Looks like an American Standard Arcoliner and if the gauge is correct, then the expansion tank must be drained as well, and the pressure reducing valve tested.
Without service, the relief valve will soon blow, if that works.
