Forensics Detectors Low Level CO.....anyone know anything on these?

Hello,
I've done soo much reading on this site, i wish i had known about this place years ago. I have standard UL rated CO detectors in my home, one on each level, but i thought it maybe a good idea to put a low level monitor in the basement where the gas boiler and hot water heater live.
I know that CO Experts and Defender are highly recommended, but I found this on amazon and I was wondering if it has any merit for purchase.

I realized that I can find the CO Experts on Amazon and the Defender on other sites. Between CO Experts and Defender.....just go with whichever is more readily available??0

Might want to look at the manuals of both and see how they display low levels and how/if they can be set to alert at low levels and see how that matches what you would like them to do/how you would use them. For example it you have to press a button to see levels below the UL threshold, are you ever going to do that.0

Hi everyone...first, thank you for all your help. I was ready to purchase the Defender low CO detector when I stumbled upon a low level detector by Kidde. This one is actually available to me locally, and the settings/readings/alarms/etc work for my needs. Any thoughts??

Not my choose.0

It's UL listed, so it won't alarm at low levels. You'd need to monitor the display readout to know when low-level CO is present. Not good. I'd go with (and have multiple times at each one's end of life) CO Experts.FloMo201 said:Hi everyone...first, thank you for all your help.
