Vibration Dampeners for Tankless Water Heaters

To minimize the noise stemming from the vibrations from a tankless water heater, I am intending to install vibration dampeners (aka anti-vibration mounts).
Someone had recommended Barry Controls, Series 22001.
Are there other mounts that anyone can recommend to minimize vibrations, that are better? Would any rubber grommets suffice?

Those are excellent. The trick with anti-vibration for the actual machine to the mount is to make sure that there is no hard connection -- such as a screw or carriage bolt -- from the machine to the mounting surface.
That said... you also need to be certain that any piping connections are also vibration isolated, if vibration and noise is a concern. PEX pipe will do, so long as it is long enough and has at least one bend of at least 90 degrees along its length (could be an elbow fitting, although just sweeping the pipe is better).Br. Jamie, osb
