I have posted in the past about replacing an old (32yrs)oversized (100kbthu out/2.5 ton) Rheem HVAC system in a secondary home at 900sqft in a rural area. Still have not done it. The one quote I got in June was not affordable.
Went back for first time since and furnace wouldn't light. No 25v to main gas valve. Pilot and flame rod sensing worked fine. Sometimes, but not always, a whack the side of the furnace caused the main gas valve to open but I wasnt about to do that all day.
Went to Lowes, bought three, delonghi, oil filled radiators with max btu out put of 5100 btu each.

With outside temps of 33 f the house was cozy! 70 in rooms with rads, 67 in rooms without. I walked around in a tee shirt and was comfortable.
I have used the slant fin app and came up with a heatload of at 40-45kbtu. Looks like that will be a good range to work with!
