How often should you have an oil fired boiler cleaned

    Depends on the boiler and what the manufacturer recommends. My triple pass, double filtration, set up perfectly only gets cleaned about every 4 years, filters & nozzle when the vacuum gauge says so.
    I do stick the analyzer on it every year just to see where I'm at.

    That's great but the average homeowner should have it done once a year. It's not called an ATU (Annual Tune Up) for nothing.
    I haven't touched mine in about 3 years but need some motivation. If my wife told me there were Mallomars, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
