Is this CO detector OK for extra protection?

After having a natural gas stove/heater installed at my vacation property, I would like to use a CO detector that is more sensitive than the First Alert alarms I have at the property. My understanding is that the First Alert CO detectors sound an alarm only when the CO level is relatively high. I'd like to check for any low-level leaks in this heating appliance's direct-vent flue pipes. I know, I know, you get what you pay for, but I don't need a $1,000 pro-level detector. I'm just looking for a little more sensitivity than the First Alert alarms, to satisfy me that this newly installed direct-vent flue piping is properly getting all the CO to the outside air. Here's the product I'm considering. Junk, or OK for my basic purposes?
